About Shawn Martin:

Former U.S. Army paratrooper, marine biologist, and SCUBA instructor, Shawn Martin is now the distiller for the Papa’s Pilar rum distillery in Key West, Florida, where he leads the innovation and production team. 

About Indy Anand:

Having worked for over 10 years in the City, Indy has gained a wealth of experience in building relationships with professional clients. His love for rum led him into the London RumFest almost 10 years ago but through his WSET 2 spirits qualification, he has learnt to appreciate all spirits for their diversity and complexity.

Indy has travelled the world to judge a variety of cocktail competitions, and most recently, judge at the World Drink Awards in 2018. He has also visited various distilleries globally including Foursquare, La Rouget De L’Isle and Mount Gay. With a keen eye and sophisticated palate, Indy is always on the hunt for new products to help bring to the growing UK market.
